Nigeria at 59: Rev.Father advocates Peaceful coexistence, good neighbourliness.

Prayers of good neighbourliness, peaceful coexistence of the citizens ,honesty and good leadership took the center stage at a Holy Mass celebrated today at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church Tedi -Muwo ,Lagos to mark the country’s 59th independence anniversary .
The officiating priest, the Rev. Fr Jude Nwachukwu enjoined Nigerians to re dedicate themselves to God through prayers to receive the grace to always do what is morally right .
Father Jude lamented that the high rate of banditry, kidnapping, and killings has made live miserable to innocent Nigerians and hindered the progress of the nation.
Correspondent Ifeoma Okpala reports that the Catholic Church in Nigeria entrusts every month of October to Mary the mother of Jesus for her to intercede for the country ,for God’s blessings on the citizens.
