Lagos Discharges Another 48 Covid-19 Free Patients

48 Covid-19 patients; 32 males and 16 females, all Nigerians have been discharged from Isolation facilities in Lagos.

28 of them were discharged from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 6 from Lekki, 1 from Onikan and 13 from the Lagos, University Teaching Hospital, LUTH having fully recovered and tested negative to Covid-19 in two consecutive readings.

With this new development, the number of covid-19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos stands at 406.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who made this known noted that though many of those being managed for Covid-19 in the State had recovered, Lagosians need to also be careful, remain guarded, and show commitment and cooperation with the authorities .

He said the State would continue to celebrate and acknowledge its wins, as well as reflect on itslosses as these would help all stakeholders to stay on course, prevent them from being distracted, stay focused in facing this pandemic head on.
